MICHAEL G. MILLIMAN is a principal member of the firm with over 15 years experience. Mike has focused on not only providing his clients with exceptional legal services, but also building long-standing partnerships with them.
After graduating law school and passing the bar, Mike earned an LL.M. degree in Taxation from Wayne State University Law School, one of the top-rated tax law programs in the country.
Mike has extensive experience in advising his clients on all levels of estate planning, from simple wills to complex trust agreements. Mike approaches each estate plan by first determining the client’s goals and objectives, before offering various options to accomplish them.
Mike’s practical knowledge offers his clients an all-encompassing approach to his real estate practice. He represents both buyers and sellers in real estate transactions, as well as title insurers and financial institutions in title clearance matters. Mike is also a licensed real estate broker in Michigan and title insurance agent in Illinois, with a strong background in residential and commercial real estate, including new construction.
For business clients, Mike represents both new companies at the formation stage, and serves as general counsel to established local, regional and international businesses. He also advises his clients on intellectual property issues, such as copyright and trademark, and has experience in negotiating complex licensing and franchise agreements.
Mike is licensed to practice law in both Michigan and Illinois, and accepts legal plan referrals as a Legal Services Voluntary Benefits Provider. He was recently featured in Attorney Spotlight by Hyatt Legal Plans, a MetLife company, from its national network of over 14,000 attorneys for his dedication to plan members. Mike is also an ARAG Network Attorney.
