DANA A. DEVER, also known as Dan, is a general practitioner and problem solver with a broad range of experience and expertise. He has been active in the practice of law since 1974, with emphasis in the areas of real estate, contracts, business matters and formation, negotiations, and select areas of civil litigation. His real estate practice includes purchase and sale of residential and commercial properties, leasing, property development and dealings with governmental approvals such as zoning and site planning, and litigation involving real estate and tenancies. In addition to his law license, he is a licensed Michigan Real Estate Broker, and was previously a co-owner of a title insurance agency. His real estate clients have included buyers and sellers, landlords and tenants, developers, contractors, title insurance companies, and claimants against title insurance companies, in transactional and litigation matters.

Dan’s litigation experience includes civil disputes between individuals and companies, actions against or actions defending against governmental entities involving businesses and properties, Probate disputes such as inheritance matters and Will contests, and domestic relations (divorce) matters centering upon property, debt, and issues not primarily focused on child custody.

Dan is active in the Ann Arbor and surrounding community. He has served for many years on Board of Review dealing with appeals of property valuations for the Township in which he resides. While residing in Ann Arbor, he served on various City Boards and agencies. He has been active for more than thirty years with the Ann Arbor Kiwanis Foundation, receiving awards for service with distinction. He has represented various Church organizations and denominations.
